10 minutes of Darkness….

Holiday for some people is fun, for some people it’s boring but for me, holiday is a time where you spend time together with your family and some more its Christmas time. Let us all not forget that Christmas is a wonderful day that our Lord Jesus’ birthday and there is no such thing as Santa Claus or what so ever people make out for Christmas. Today went I woke up, I heard a loud screaming, and more like shouting. It’s the neighbors again; they always have this family problem where the husband came back late, very late. Every day the husband goes to work at around 8am in the morning, and usually, usually comes back late at night around 11pm. Probably he went to pub and have a drink with his colleges and comes back 6am this morning. I was awake because of the loud shouting between the husband and wife. I don’t really know what they are yapping about probably the wife suspecting the husband cheating on her.

It reminds me of my past, why can’t husband and wife live a life with peace and harmony? Didn’t God remind them to live in peace and in harmony? They are humans after all, naturally we human tend to sin more than do good deeds. So there I was, woke up around 6am thanks to those lovely couple I can’t continue my sleep so I go online and I saw Reuben online in MSN. It’s a coincidence that Reuben was reading my blog as well and praying for me in his daily prayer. Thanks Reuben. Okay back to the original topic, my title for today, 10 minutes of darkness….what does it mean?

It was raining the whole day, starting from…….er…..last midnight I guess, none stop till around 5pm the rain stopped. And you know, normally after rain there was this….kinda huge kind of ants with wings always loitering around your light. I was alone that time and in order to defeat these bugs which hungers for light is to close all the other lights and leave one light on. Amazing thing just came across my mind. All the bugs start to move in an army, together to the one and only light which is on. I notice something, WE, are the bugs and the light is Jesus Christ and when the lights are off, the bugs are lost and they fly around without direction but if the lights are on, these bugs felt life, felt that they have a mission to achieve. Same as us humans, without Jesus our days will be pointless and meaningless. The eternal darkness last for 10minutes after that, the bugs fly to my neighbor’s house (the one that fights), muahahaha after that I can on my light and they have to eat their dinner/supper with the bugs hehe Thank You Jesus.
